World Series Bound!

The Cardinals are going to the World Series! And I doubted them. . .although they deserved to be doubted this season. I’m so excited about them going to World Series because they had to fight and really play to get there. And it’s going to be a tough series. They’re facing Detroit, a team with a deeper bullpen and probably more consistency. Cardinals pitching has been lacking this season and you never know what you’re going to get out of the bullpen. One game Reyes will throw an almost perfect outing, the next he’ll allow 4 thousand runs. But Jeff Suppan wants it, if he has to pitch the entire series. And Eckstein, Speizo and Duncan are playing hungry. And maybe it’s good that the Cards are going in as underdogs. No one expects much from them, and there’s nothing to prove. And they’re going to have to want it to win it!
