What dreams may come

When I remember my dreams, they’re usually pretty interesting. That’s why I’m so bummed that I can’t remember all of last night’s “Grey’s Anatomy”-themed dream. I knew that I’d had a dream when I woke up, but everything was fuzzy. Then I walked into the kitchen and looked at the picture of Patrick Dempsey on my refrigerater (yes, there’s a picture of him on the fridge! If I have to explain why, this story will not be funny!) Anyway, when I saw the picture everything clicked. For some reason, I dreamed P. Dempsey (I’m unsure if it was actually him or his alter-ego Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd) was coming over to my house. I spent most of the night/dream worried that he would be weirded out by seeing his picture posted on my refrigerator! At 5 a.m., that realization made me laugh out loud (which is a pretty big feat!) Apparently he didn’t find the picture thing too strange, because the dream wasn’t traumatizing! (BTW, anyone watch Grey’s last night? McDreamy, McVet, and McSteamy? It was almost too much to bear!)
