Tell me a lie, if it’s true

I’m on a journalistic high! I just went to an interview with a young emerging CCM artist who told me she recognized me because I looked like a journalist! I’ve never heard that one before. I look like a teenager. Yep, get that one at work quite often. You look terrible. I tell that to myself every morning when I get out of bed. You don’t look 26. The waiter at the restaurant on my 26th birthday told me that one. (Actually, I think he said: You don’t look that old.” I haven’t decided, now more than a year later, if that was a compliment or not!) I’ve never been told I look like a journalist, but today, I guess I finally pulled it off! Yeah!!!!!!!

The interview went well. Jesse Daniels is a young singer, 18, just starting out in the Christian biz. It was fun. I’ve really missed the adrenaline rush of interviews and deadlines. Well, maybe not deadlines; I’ve got enough of those to deal with. But this was a nice break from the computer and deciding if a writer really got the idea behind the assignment or not! 🙂
