An easy breakfast, brunch or light lunch recipe for a refreshing start to the new year!

At the start of the new year, fresh, flavorful and, most importantly, easy meals are a must! Quiche can be a fantastic choice for breakfast or a light lunch or dinner when paired with a salad. This recipe can be adapted to your tastes (throw in cooked bacon rather than sausage if you prefer or all in different cheeses, veggies or more). Let us know how you make it your own in the comments!

Ingredients
1 prepared pie crust, placed in pie pan
6 large eggs
¾ cups milk, cream or half and half
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage crumbles
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup baby spinach, washed
3 tablespoons sliced green onions
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Prepare pie crust.
Whisk together eggs, milk/cream, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle sausage, spinach, onions and half of the cheese into prepared pie crust in pie pan (at least 9 inch).
Pour egg mixture over the top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake 35-40 minutes until center is set and doesn’t jiggle. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving for clean slices.
Enjoy!
