In celebration of Pi Day, we’re highlighting a few of our favorite pie recipes

Pi Day is certainly an occasion we can get behind celebrating, so today, we’re highlighting a few of our favorite pie recipes. So, if you’re looking for a new recipe to make in celebration of Pi Day, we’ve got a few suggestions for you!
Chocolate Chip Pie
This pie is like a warm chocolate chip cookie in a crust. What’s not to like? It’s also super simple to make, especially if you use a store-bought pie shell. You simple mix together the ingredients, pour them in the shell and bake. You can make it with or without nuts, and it’s delicious paired with ice cream or whipped cream. Get the recipe.
Apple Pie with Crumb Topping
We’ve shared about this pie before, but if you’re celebrating Pi Day, it should definitely be toward the top of your list. This one can also be made with a store-bought crust, but if you feel like making your own, go for it. The apples are baked in a mixture of spices and heavy cream then topped with a buttery, pecan and brown sugar mixture. It all comes together in the oven, and we promise that you won’t regret serving it warm with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Get the recipe.

That’s a win-win for us! Get the recipe.
Spinach and Turkey Sausage Quiche
Who said pie had to be sweet? Here’s one of our favorite quiche recipes we’ve shared, which we like because it’s tasty and easy to make. You can serve it for breakfast or brunch or pair it with a garden salad for a tasty lunch. Get the recipe.
Chicken Pot Pie
Speaking of savory pies, don’t sleep on chicken pot pie. Spring seems like the perfect season for pot pie, which features bright veggies and chicken in a creamy sauce and a delightful biscuit crust. Serve with salad for a lighter evening meal or lunch. We’re loving this recipe from Creme de la Crumb. Get the recipe.
Chocolate Pudding Pie
Let’s end our Pi Day celebration on a high note with Smitten Kitchen’s chocolate pudding pie! There are so many ways to make chocolate pudding pie, including packaged pudding mix and those are great. But if you want to take chocolate pudding pie to a whole new level, try this one which features a homemade chocolate pudding filling that’s to die for and you can top it with fresh whipped cream (or Cool Whip if you’d prefer). But whatever you do, it will be delicious!
