Let the countdown begin. . .

7 days until I leave for Russia! One week from today, I’ll be on my way to Atlanta to catch a plane to Frankfurt, Germany, then we’ll go over to Moscow, then we’ll get on a plane to Sochi. I’m not sure when we’ll get those tickets. . .

Today I’m just trying to get a lot of stuff tied up at work so I won’t be a worried mess the entire time I’m gone. Your prayers for me in these days before I go would be much appreciated. I’ve got a lot on my mind with work and everything that I’m trying to get done before I go, plus the actual getting ready to go part (I’m sure I’m forgetting something!) And I’m worried about my family, because of the stress of two elderly grandmothers and my uncle Dean’s failing health (he has terminal cancer.) So be praying for my peace of mind, my focus to be on God and what He can do through this mission trip, and the clarity and organization I’ll need to get everything done!
