Today is a moment to pause, reflect, and pray. After Jesus’ crucifixion, His body lay in a borrowed tomb. His disciples scattered. “It’s over,” they must have thought. They had thought He was the Messiah and now He was dead. But all creation was waiting in expectancy that the disciples couldn’t sense in all of their grief. The disciples mourned on that silent Saturday when they thought all hope was lost. But in the silence, God was working. Dwell on that truth today.
Pray
Think about the areas in your life where it feels like God is silent. Write a prayer stressing your desire to trust God in those situations and believe that He is at work, even if you can’t see it.
