Second Sunday of Lent

In some traditions, Sundays during Lent are an opportunity to break the fast of Lent. Mark today as a “mini-celebration” pointing to the joy of Easter. Review Psalm 103:11 and add verse 12 this week, a verse that supplies many reasons for celebration. Celebrate the grace and mercy God has shown you in Jesus by removing your sins.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
