It’s December!

Everyone, sing along! Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please to put a penny in an old man’s hat! Yeah! It’s Christmas season! The Christmas tree has made it’s appearance in the apartment and jingle bells, holly and candles are everywhere! New additions to the tree: a Tigger ornament, a bear ornament from Montana, and a wonderful Disney World castle (complete with Tinker Bell. Gotta love that Tink!) I’m so excited about the Christmas season. I love it. The anticipation. The expectation. The feeling of holiness and love as we approach the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior, the author of the faith, the Creator, the Lover of our souls. I love the advent time, the idea of preparing for Christmas, of seeking to know God more fully through the miracle of Jesus’ birth. The wonder of the gift God gave each of us wrapped in swaddling clothes so many thousands of years ago. Go celebrate it!
