I don’t really have time (or material) to sit and write a wonderful, thought-provoking, beautifully written blog, but I’m going to slap something up here anyway. Think of it as the recap at the beginning of your favorite show. . .(You know, “last week on Veronica Mars. . .”

Here’s the scoop on my life: • I’m still behind on everything I work on, just not AS far behind! • I got a free lunch at Baja Burrito today. Yes, Cesar was working the cash register. I remarked to Mindy that he really likes us. She gave me the patented Mindy stare and said “He likes YOU!” I blushed. (BTW: he winked at me again!) • I’m getting closer to getting my condo. Closing is still on schedule for October 16. • Muffin is sporting a massive poodle fro. It’s not the best look for her face shape. (She’s getting a new ’do on Friday, Oct. 13.) • The Cardinals won against the Padres yesterday! In a remarkable turn of events, the Cards actually looked like a team who deserves to be playing in the post season. Imagine that! • My birthday was great. I got taken out to dinner not once, but twice. I was serenaded with beautiful renditions of “Happy Birthday” (the choir at church actually sang harmony at the end!), I got to eat a slice of ice cream cake, and we had a great Life Group get-together at our teachers’ house. • My dad started picking cotton yesterday. With about 2500 acres of cotton in the fields, it may pushing it to get it done before Thanksgiving. • My house is now furnished completely with boxes. Not really, but they are overtaking most of the living space as I pack my belongings. • This post is pretty pointless, but, oh well. Points to you for reading it! 🙂
