The details: One of my favorite things to enjoy after dinner is a warm cup of coffee and a bite of something sweet. So, when I came across this recipe, it had a few things going for it. First of all, when I looked over the ingredients, there was nothing strange or expensive—and I already had most of it in my pantry or fridge. There weren’t a ton of involved steps, and maybe most importantly, this recipe was simple. A quick easy recipe I can make without a trip to the store! WINNER!

The adjustments: The only adjustment I made this time involved the whole milk the recipe called for. I don’t routinely have whole milk on hand, but I did have half and half and heavy cream, so I used a mixture of the two in place of the whole milk in the frosting.

The verdict: I’ll be making this one again soon! I was in the mood for something sweet, but not something that would take all evening to make, so this was the perfect answer. Moist, delicious and incredibly easy!
